Assam cab operators have lifted their blockade on Meghalaya-registered vehicles after receiving safety reassurances from a ministerial-level meeting. In response to the recent violence, the Meghalaya government has established a Special Investigation Team to investigate the incidents. Operators are now waiting for the results of the investigation and compensation for their damages, with a delegation set to meet with Assam government officials this Sunday.
