The defense has rested its case in the Lindsay Clancy murder trial after eliciting more testimony about her mental state before she strangled her three young children in 2023.

Clancy has pleaded not guilty to three counts of first-degree murder for the deaths of her children at her family's home in the Boston suburb of Duxbury on Jan. 24, 2023.

Lindsay Clancy's defense team plans to rest their case Friday, as closing arguments are set to begin next week.
