DGFT relaxes One Star Export House norms, exporters can qualify on performance in any two of three preceding years

The government has relaxed export house status eligibility criteria for exporters. Exporters now qualify with performance in any two of three preceding financial years. This change excludes the gems and jewellery sector which has separate rules. The Directorate General of Foreign Trade amended the Foreign Trade Policy for this update. An automated facility for export obligation extensions was also introduced by the DGFT.
