26/11 attacks: Mumbai Police moves to try Hafiz Saeed, others in absentia

Mumbai Police have requested the Union Home Ministry to serve court orders via Interpol. These orders target six absconding accused, including Hafiz Saeed and Zaki-ur-Rehman Lakhvi. The process aims to initiate trials in absentia for their involvement in the 26/11 attacks. The court issued proclamation orders against these Pakistani nationals after their evasion. Terrorist Ajmal Kasab and David Headley had previously mentioned their roles in the attacks.
