Ninety-four cent of Gaza’s 2.1 million residents need shelter as Israeli gunfire and strikes continue inside the enclave, UN agencies and peacekeepers warned on Thursday.

An estimated 1.98 million people in Gaza, or 94 percent of the population, need shelter and basic household assistance, the United Nations has said.
