Anthony was sentenced to 35 years in prison over the killing of 17-year-old Austin Metcalf last year, during a confrontation in the bleachers of a high school stadium near Dallas.

Karmelo Anthony, 19, was convicted and sentenced to 35 years in prison in June for fatally stabbing a fellow student at a high school track meet.

The 19-year-old black man was convicted of murder for the fatal stabbing of Austin Metcalf, a 17-year-old white athlete.
