Nagas clash with security forces over six deaths in Manipur

Violence erupted at Namdilong Naga Village during a protest for justice. Security forces used tear gas after protesters threw stones at them. Hostage situations involving Kuki and Naga communities occurred after earlier violent incidents. Authorities and leaders worked to secure the release of many hostages. The bodies of six Naga hostages were later recovered near Kharam Vaiphei village.
