The number of job vacancies in Finland rose in annual terms for the first time since 2022 during the second quarter of this year, according to Statistics Finland. Employers reported 29,600 vacancies, up 2 per cent from 28,900 in the second quarter of 2025. The figures describe the situation on 1 June. The increase ended a run of annual declines in quarterly vacancy figures dating back to 2022.
