Farage using Christianity to ‘channel anti-Muslim feeling’: Ex-archbishop

LONDON: The former archbishop of Canterbury has accused Reform UK leader Nigel Farage of using the Christian faith to “channel anti-Muslim feeling.” Rowan Williams also said he would pose some “awkward questions” to anti-Islam activist Tommy Robinson over his professed Christian belief. There is an “inevitable scepticism these days about some claims to religious conviction,” Williams — who served as the Church of England’s leading bishop for a decade — told New Humanist magazine.
