Sugar stocks extended gains on Thursday, with Avadh Sugar & Energy, Zuari Industries, Dwarikesh Sugar, Bannari Amman Sugars and Balrampur Chini Mills gaining up to 14 per cent after the government tightened sugar stockholding limits amid record-high prices.
