Indian athletics team to have short camp at University of Tsukuba in Japan ahead of Asian Games

The Indian athletics team will hold a short acclimatisation camp at the University of Tsukuba near Tokyo ahead of the Asian Games in Aichi-Nagoya. The team is expected to leave India on September 12 or 13 after the Indian Athletics Final Series. Before that, Asian Games-bound athletes will train in Bhubaneswar and compete in the Indian Open World Athletics Silver Level event on August 22. The Athletics Federation of India has also submitted a squad of over 72 athletes to the Indian Olympic Association.
