Israeli strikes kill nine in south Lebanon, state news reports​

Israeli warplanes killed nine people in southern Lebanon on Saturday. Seven died when a house in Ansar was struck, and two others died in Deir El Zahrani. These attacks are among the deadliest since a U.S.-mediated peace framework was agreed. Israel stated it struck Hezbollah infrastructure in response to actions against its soldiers. Lebanese officials condemned the raids, calling the victims women and children, not military targets.
