She spent 10 hours in A&E undergoing a CT scan before being discharged, praising the NHS staff for treating her with immense patience and concern. The former Great British Bake Off judge, who announced her departure from the show earlier this year and was replaced by Nigella Lawson, was awarded a damehood in 2021.
