An FIR was registered against Aishwarya, daughter of Karnataka BJP MLA B Suresh Gowda, for allegedly assaulting a woman police sub-inspector. The incident occurred at Maramma Temple in Mandya during Bhima Amavasya celebrations on August 12. Aishwarya reportedly sought direct entry to the sanctum, which the Sub-Inspector denied, leading to an argument. The MLA has apologised for his daughter's conduct and called for a fair inquiry into the matter.
