Attorney General Todd Blanche is seeking to rally a depleted Justice Department workforce in his first speech since taking the reins of the beleaguered agency, promising rank-and-file staff that he will lead them with integrity

Todd Blanche was sworn in as attorney general after the Senate narrowly voted to confirm the president's former defense lawyer to helm the Justice Department over the weekend.

Blance had been serving as acting attorney general since Trump fired Pam Bondi in April, in part for failing to successfully prosecute several of his political enemies.
