Karnataka: Cabinet clears Sandhya Kiran cashless health scheme for pensioners

Karnataka has just greenlit the Sandhya Kiran cashless healthcare scheme, set to benefit state pensioners with annual coverage of up to five lakh rupees. Eligible families will have access to secondary, tertiary, and emergency medical services at designated hospitals. Pensioners will only need to contribute a minor portion of their basic pension, while the Suvarna Arogya Suraksha Trust will oversee the program's execution.
