Hindustan Petroleum Corp has bought 4 million barrels of Middle Eastern crude through a spot tender, according to trade sources. The state-run refiner purchased 2 million barrels of Murban crude each from BP and PetroChina, along with 1 million barrels of Oman crude from Trafigura, with deliveries expected in early October.
