Powerball draw: The Powerball jackpot has soared to approximately one billion dollars, marking it as the eighth-largest prize ever in the games history. The last winning jackpot was awarded to two fortunate players on May 2. Drawings take place every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday evening, with tickets available in forty-five states and additional territories.

The Powerball jackpot has risen to an estimated $975 million after nobody took the grand prize in Monday night’s drawing, which soared to the eighth-largest prize in history.

If the jackpot crosses $1 billion after the next draw, this will be the first to do so since the $1.8 billion prize claimed by a Powerball player from Arizona last year.

The prize has increased by $70 million ahead of the next draw
