Karoline Leavitt, 28, will leave as White House press secretary at month’s end to spend more time with her young family, while continuing as an outside adviser to President Donald Trump

President Donald Trump says White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt will be leaving the administration at the end of the month to spend time with her young family.

Leavitt, who is the youngest White House press secretary every, gave birth in May to a girl, her second child.

Leavitt, 28, was the youngest White House press secretary in history when Trump appointed her early during his transition.
