St Ann man charged with arson after setting fire to house during dispute

A 28-year-old Windsor, St Ann, man has been charged with setting the house of a man on fire during a dispute. Charged with arson is David Humes. Humes is also charged with unauthorised possession of ammunition, arising from the discovery of cartridges at his home. Reports from the St Ann Bay police are that about 2:00 p.m. on Monday, August 10, Humes and another man who lives in the same community became involved in an argument. During the dispute, Humes reportedly set the man’s house on fire.
