The Office star Lucy Davis has revealed she has been diagnosed with incurable breast cancer as she shared a video of herself ringing an end-of-treatment bell. On Tuesday (11 August), the actor, 53, said that she was first diagnosed a year-and-a-half ago, and since then, the cancer has “metastasized” to her bones, including her “spine, right hip and ribs”, adding that "it is too late for chemotherapy”. Sharing a video of her ringing a bell, the actor read out a rhyme to signal the end of her treatment. Davis, who is best known for playing Dawn Tinsley in the BBC sitcom, added: “As of now, I’m trying to live out whatever might be left of my life in as fun a way as I possibly can.”
