President Donald Trump reportedly used an elaborate security deception to secretly leave Turkey during the NATO summit amid concerns over a credible Iranian threat. According to a Washington Post report, Trump initially boarded the older Air Force One and waved to cameras before reportedly slipping out through another exit and using an airport catering truck to reach a smaller Air Force C-32A.

The clandestine mission, even kept from Trump staff, was revealed to the Washington Post.

The White House said the president was aboard Air Force One as he left a NATO summit. Instead, his departure included an elaborate ruse that concealed his travel.
