Actor Prakash Raj has claimed that his name was removed from the voter list in Bengaluru despite being a long-time resident and former Lok Sabha candidate from the constituency. In a video message, he questioned the process and vowed to pursue restoration of his voting rights.

Over 1.5 crore names removed from voter lists in the third phase of the Election Commission's Special Intensive Revision.

Calling the development a 'joke', Raj said he was born and raised in the constituency, where he attended school and college and worked in theatre. | India News
