Electric two-wheeler subsidies are extended by the government until March 2028. An incentive of up to Rs 5,000 per vehicle will continue under the PM E DRIVE scheme. The government has provisioned an additional Rs 1000 crore for electric two-wheeler subsidies. India has already surpassed its electric two-wheeler sales target under the scheme. Electric three-wheelers no longer require these government incentives.

The government has prolonged the PM E-Drive subsidy for electric two-wheelers to FY28 and increased funding by ₹1,000 crore, boosting support for sustainable mobility solutions.

The government extends the PM E-Drive scheme for electric two-wheelers until FY28, increasing funding support to ₹2,767 crore.

The Ministry of Heavy Industries (MHI) has extended the PM E-Drive scheme to till FY28.
