Social media platform X, formerly Twitter, has officially unveiled its new "Original Content Rewards Programme" while phasing out its legacy Creator Revenue Sharing scheme, in a decisive pivot towards prioritising genuine creators and curbing content duplication across the platform.

X has announced the end of its Revenue Sharing programme, replacing it with a new initiative to reward creators for producing original content on the platform.

X shuts down revenue sharing on September 7 and launches the Original Content Rewards Programme. Creators must have 500K verified impressions and a Premium sub.
