Oil prices stayed near their highest level in more than a week on Tuesday as hopes of a US-Iran deal to end their war and reopen the Strait of Hormuz weakened. WTI crude stood 0.09% up to $82.22 a barrel, while Brent crude edged to $87.80 a barrel, around 7:20 am IST.
