The collaboration addresses a critical bottleneck in scaling quantum networks: transitioning room-temperature entanglement sources and active polarization compensation systems from rack-mounted telecom central office configurations into low-SWaP (Size, Weight, and Power) modules suitable for harsh, space-constrained operational environments.
