Naresh Goyal seeks discharge from money laundering case; court asks prosecution to reply to plea

Naresh Goyal has submitted a request for discharge in connection with a money laundering case involving an alleged bank fraud amounting to Rs 538.62 crore. A special court is scheduled to consider Goyal's plea on August 17. He was taken into custody by the Enforcement Directorate in September 2023 and is presently released on medical bail.
