Assam flood toll at 101 at over 1.26 lakh remain affected

Assam's flood toll has risen to 101, with over 1.26 lakh people still affected. Golaghat district is the most severely impacted, reporting over 71,000 affected individuals. The administration is currently operating 89 relief camps, providing shelter to 24,000 people. Many villages remain submerged, and significant crop areas have been damaged by the floodwaters. Several rivers, including Dhansiri and Kushiyara, are flowing above their danger levels.
