Nasarawa Healthcare Centre In Ruins, Lacks Water, Adequate Beds, Puts Thousands Of Residents At Risk

Amid growing calls for government intervention, the Majaga Primary Healthcare Centre (PHC) in the Toto Local Government Area of Nasarawa State, the only government health facility serving more than 2800 residents in the community, has been found in a state of disrepair. A monitoring visit to the facility by Socio-Accountability platform, Tracka, revealed major gaps in basic healthcare infrastructure and services, raising concerns over the ability of the PHC to provide safe and adequate medical care to residents who depend on it.
