In a significant trade move, China unveiled stringent tariffs on imported pecans from both the United States and Mexico. Mexican pecans will be burdened with tariffs ranging from 17.8 to 51.6 percent, while U.S. producers face a hefty flat rate of 54.3 percent. These tariffs emerge after an anti-dumping investigation initiated in September, reflecting the ongoing trade tensions between the two largest economies in the world.
