Earthquake of magnitude 4.2 strikes Uttarakhand's Uttarkashi

An earthquake of magnitude 4.2 struck Uttarakhands Uttarkashi district at 1:21 am on Monday, officials said. The quakes epicentre was located 10 km deep near Rajgarhi in Barkot tehsil. Tremors were felt across Uttarkashi, Barkot, Purola, Mori, Chinyalisaur and Dunda, prompting residents to leave buildings.
