Zomato’s District is shopping for growth beyond its dining business - The Economic Times

CEO Rahul Ganjoo told ET that while dining will remain District’s biggest category en route to a targeted $3 billion net order value (NOV), the retail vertical is growing rapidly and could overtake movies. “Retail is growing really fast… our shopping vertical has real potential, to become one of the bigger ones (categories). I wouldn’t say as big as dining, but I’d almost bet it would become our second-biggest vertical within three years, based on the growth we’re seeing,” Ganjoo said.
