Ashish Yadav opens India's account with silver in men's javelin at World Athletics U20 Championships

Ashish Yadav secured a silver medal in the men's javelin throw event. His throw of 74.09 meters opened India's medal account at the championships. T Dharanidharan finished sixth with a throw of 72.35 meters. South Africa's Jan-Hendrik Heymans claimed the gold medal with a throw of 80.50 meters. Yadav became the second Indian to win silver in this event.
