House panel seeks update on India's GPU ambitions - The Economic Times

The Parliamentary Standing Committee on Communications and Information Technology, in its latest report, quizzed the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) about the progress made in consultations with cloud service providers and startups. The panel also offered to help co-create a scalable infrastructure plan. Back in March, the panel had argued that while the AI landscape was fast changing, and that it had concerns about the development of a sovereign AI model.
