Akasa Air, AI Express say their B737 planes are not impacted by FAA directive

Indian airlines Akasa Air and Air India Express confirmed their Boeing 737 fleets are not impacted by a recent FAA directive. This directive mandates inspections for potential fuselage cracks on certain Boeing 737 aircraft models. Akasa Air stated its young fleet will not reach inspection thresholds for many years. Air India Express also confirmed its approximately eighty Boeing 737 planes are unaffected by the order.
