Pakistan saw 1,914 child abuse cases in early 2026. Child sexual abuse was the most frequent crime reported by Sahil. Girls comprised fifty-eight percent of the victims, with older children most affected. Perpetrators were often known to victims, and abuse frequently occurred at home. Punjab province reported eighty percent of these disturbing incidents.
