Solar accounted for 19% of national consumption in July, followed by hydroelectric generation (16%), wind power (13%), and biomass (5%).

Solar generated 7,696 GWh in Spain last month, a new all-time high for monthly PV generation and equivalent to 28.3% of the country's electricity mix.

Last month, renewable sources accounted for 53% of consumption, with solar providing 19% of that energy, followed by hydro, wind and biomass.
