A suspected arsonist accused of starting a series of destructive wildfires in the Spokane, Wash., area has confessed, police say in court records.

Authorities say they’ve arrested a 37-year-old man suspected of intentionally starting one of the devastating wildfires burning around Spokane, Washington.

Spokane County Sheriff John Nowels said Aaron Farinacci, 37, was arrested late Monday afternoon in connection with the Old Trails Fire.
