The alleged arsonist in the first of three devastating wildfires in Washington state last week admitted to igniting the blaze and more than two dozen others since last year, court documents show.

Aaron F. Farinacci was booked on suspicion of arson in connection with the Old Trails Fire.

The suspect was arrested in connection with one of three wildfires in Spokane, Wash., that have destroyed hundreds of homes and displaced nearly a quarter of the city's residents.
