MOSCOW: Emergency crews have extinguished a fire caused by drone debris at a refinery in Russia’s Yaroslavl region northeast of Moscow, regional governor Mikhail Evrayev said on Thursday. “The fire in the fuel tanks, caused by falling drone debris, has been put out as quickly as possible,” Evrayev said on Telegram.

The Syzran oil refinery in Russia's Samara Oblast is on fire following a drone attack on 4 August, according to Russian and Ukrainian monitoring channels.

Russia's Yaroslavl reportedly came under a drone attack overnight, with OSINT analysts suggesting the Slavneft-YANOS oil refinery was hit.
