Researchers from the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), the Joint Quantum Institute (JQI) at the University of Maryland, and quantum networking firm Qunnect have successfully demonstrated long-distance polarization-entangled photon distribution across a live, partially aerial fiber-optic link.
