Somanna urges Amit Shah to fast-track ST tag for Kadugolla community

Union Minister V. Somanna requested Amit Shah to include the Kadugolla community in Karnataka's ST list. The proposal has already passed an important scrutiny stage with the Registrar General of India. This community is socially, educationally, and economically backward in Karnataka. Granting ST status will improve their access to welfare benefits and constitutional safeguards. The demand for this inclusion has been pending for several years.
