Rupert Lowe grilled over ‘Islamification of Britain’ claims in BBC radio clash
Rupert Lowe repeatedly ignored Nick Robinson’s request for him to provide evidence that the UK is “hurtling towards being an Islamic country" as the pair clashed on BBC Radio 4’s Today programme on Thursday (6 August). The presenter grilled the Restore Britain leader on his social media posts which read: “I am not going to sit back and watch Britain become an Islamic country... that is what we are hurtling towards.” Mr Lowe was asked several times to provide evidence of this while on air. In a post on X following the interview, Mr Lowe said he had “given the BBC the brutal truth.”
