Monsoon disruption in Uttarakhand: Gangotri, Yamunotri routes hit by landslides; Asan Barrage opens gates

The Gangotri and Yamunotri National Highways were blocked due to road obstruction and continuous rockfall in Uttarkashi. Meanwhile, authorities released around 39,000 cusecs of water from the Asan Barrage in Dehradun after rising river discharge clogged the barrage's trash rack screen.
