Gold and silver prices rose for the third straight session on MCX, helped by a weaker US dollar, lower Treasury yields and easing oil prices amid hopes of the Strait of Hormuz reopening. Silver gained Rs 228 to Rs 2,27,812/kg, while gold rose Rs 757 to Rs 1,49,250/10g. Over three sessions, they have surged 5.2% and 4.4%, respectively.
