The Nigerian Government has directed the immediate implementation of measures aimed at strengthening the protection of health workers across Nigeria following the submission of the report of the Ministerial Committee on the Harassment of Health Workers by Security Personnel. The directive was announced in an official statement issued on Wednesday after the Coordinating Minister of Health and Social Welfare, Prof. Muhammad Ali Pate, received and accepted the committee's recommendations, ordering their immediate implementation in line with the accompanying action plan.
