Clarendon man charged with arson and burglary

A 56-year-old Clarendon man has been charged for allegedly breaking into a house and setting a fire. Charged with arson and burglary is Conroy White, otherwise called ‘Sojie’ or ‘Morris’, a farmer of Bullock district. A court date for him is being finalised. The incident happened in his community on Sunday, August 2. The police report that about 1:00 a.m., a man was asleep when he was awakened by noises coming from another section of the house.
