The Local Government and Social Care Ombudsman criticised Portsmouth City Council for failing to properly oversee the care provider and leaving a statutory safeguarding inquiry unresolved for six months. Portsmouth City Council has apologised to the family, refunded care fees, and paid £1,000 in compensation for the distress caused, stating they no longer use Radis.
