Rep. Max Miller faced serious allegations from his ex-wife during a CNN interview, which include scalding and physical abuse claims.

"I do believe those struggles have contributed to allegations that I firmly dispute," he said of his ex-wife's medically diagnosed condition.

Emily Moreno has said that Miller scalded, hit and threatened her while they were married. Miller denied those allegations.

The congressman faces credible accusations of domestic violence. But whether Miller will take the party down with him remains to be seen.

Miller referred to the allegations levied against President Donald Trump in 2016 as to why he would not exit his race for reelection.
